Andy Patton grew up with his parents and two siblings in the Midwest. In May 2014, he graduated from Aurora University with a degree in history and religion. Then, in August, he moved from Chicago to Dallas in order to enter Dallas Theological Seminary’s Master of Theology program. Outside of the classroom, he enjoys reading, watching sports, and backpacking. This summer Andy and his uncle tried to climb Wyoming’s tallest mountain, Gannett Peak—which is the second most difficult state high point after Denali in Alaska. They fell short of the summit but had fun learning new skills and doing something challenging.
CSNTM’s mission is an intersection between Andy’s passion for history and Christian scriptures. They are at the cutting edge of digitally preserving beautiful ancient manuscripts, which help people discover more about the New Testament. He is looking forward to using his experiences and enthusiasm to fulfill this important mission.
